Pets on the Streets

27 Feb

I love pets, and street pets (wish I have taken them in Istanbul, Turkey; they were among the saddest creatures on Earth: cold, skinny, un-wanted) Sad to see them leashed to the rails while their owners are gluttons. These dogs are very expressive and joyous when I snapped a photo of them! The yellow Labrador had a limping leg. How sad! But these dogs were buddies as I could tell already!

Dog Buddies

I especially enjoyed this chubby Chihuahua. His name was “Nachos” and he has wobbling walking thing going on. But he was very cute.

Tubby Tubberson the Cat

21 Feb

T’is is one of the two cats I am going to introduce you: a young mate, Tubby Tubberson. He’s a huge black Persian cat, who gets beat up by Serenity. He don’t hiss or snap as Serenity. He’s gentle and kind, and loves to eat anything especially Chinese herbal tea (no kidding, but it was a slight surprise)! Earlier, he was abandoned with an ex-owner who passed away. It was sad.

Tricks Tubby can do. He likes the attention if you stomp on the floor. He rolls over and likes being massaged. He likes sleeping with his paws in my pairs of shoes. He’s hilarious as he moves. He reminds me of the big black Garfield.

Serenity the Cat

21 Feb

I am introducing one of the two cats I am living with. Her name is Serenity, but she can be serene at most of the times, but she’s the oldest cat of the household. She can be a total bitch sometimes to the other cats including Doni (because he’s a guy, hehe). But she’s lovable when she’s around me, and she absolutely loves kneading my legs! Talk about leg massage!

She takes arrogant but lovely poses as what I’d expected!

Fire Hydrant Labrador

17 Feb

Snapped a few photos of an absolutely cute labrador leashed, but next to the bright fire hydrant. I pondered, if this dog is ever going to be a legendary hero. Used Zeiss 50mm again. Beautiful colours, however I did slight post processing (brightening/tones). Not too much as I used to.

Pretty Kitties

Low quality Un-processed photos of my boyfriend’s kitties I found today (they were found through Twit pics, I have these high quality fotos in my backup HD, but lazy to transfer them). I miss them dearly.

Pretty Jezz and her eyes leaning to the kitchen sink

Call her Jezzie cause she's cute as a furball and loves hide-n-seek

Called him Brisky cause he's quick and muscular!

Joyous Eskimo Dog.

2 Jan

In the late morning, my boyfriend and I went to take pictures on campus. The joyous eyes of the Canadian Eskimo dog with its pure white coat, caught my eyes immediately. I was testing out the newest Canon 24-70mm f/2.8, and my impression on the lens was absolutely superior. I really like the blurry background and the comfortable distances toward the subjects. Here are the following two un-processed photos (snapped from EOS 7D):
